Victoria Trabosh

(PFW’81)

Trabosh has been sharing her expertise on effective leadership strategies and personal development for more than 20 years. She delivers engaging presentations on leadership, persistence, integrity, and philanthropy. Trabosh cofounded the Itafari Foundation, which supported women and children in Rwanda, serving as its president from 2005 to 2016. At age 65, she received a master’s degree from Harvard University. Trabosh’s presentation is called “Facing the Storms of Life—Three Secrets.”
Julie Wainwright

(M’79)

E-Commerce Entrepreneur
Cofounder and CEO // Ahara

Wainwright has been building and growing technology and consumer businesses for more than 20 years. In 2022, she founded Ahara, a precision nutrition company, which raised a seed round of more than $10 million in funding. Wainwright founded the RealReal and grew it into the leading luxury consignment company, becoming one of just 23 women in history to found and lead a company through an initial public offering. She is a frequent speaker at top industry events and universities and has received several prestigious industry awards and accolades, including recognition in Forbes’s inaugural list of 50 successful women over 50. Wainwright will speak with Sarah Lerner-Mantel during the fireside chat on Friday.
Rebecca Wyness

(PNW’17)

Command Master Chief // Base Miami Beach

Wyness was stationed on USCGC Monomoy in Manama, Bahrain, for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. She previously was the sector Miami command master chief and team leader for the Sector Miami Ready for Operations Team. Wyness graduated from the Coast Guard Training Center Cape May in 1999, took Coast Guard classes to advance her leadership skills, and obtained a 100-ton Merchant Mariners license. She earned a certificate in nutrition and health management from Purdue University Northwest and a master’s degree in management, strategy, and leadership from Michigan State University. Wyness will speak during the panel discussion “Forged in Service: Leading in the Military with Strength and Purpose.”

Missy Singer

Fashion Coach and Stylist // Missy Singer On Style

Singer has been in the fashion industry for 18 years and represents a private designer label out of Los Angeles. She provides positive and engaging support for real woman and assists them with wardrobe purchases to fit their lifestyles. Singer was previously a nurse practitioner, but she decided to make a career transition upon discovering that fashion would allow her to make a difference for women and express her entrepreneurial spirit. Singer’s presentation is called “Learn to Dress the Body You Are Blessed.”
Kelsey Smith

Marketing Cloud Administrator // Mitch Daniels School of Business // Purdue University

Smith manages and optimizes the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform at Purdue’s Daniels School of Business. With more than eight years of experience in marketing, she fosters effective and personalized communication with prospective students, seamlessly integrating marketing strategies and data-driven insights. She earned an MBA in marketing from East Carolina University and is certified as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud administrator and email specialist. Smith’s presentation is called “Breaking the Stigma: Job-Hopping as a Strategic Career Move for Women.”
Karil Sommers

(LA’10, MS T’17)

Business Office for Student Organizations // Purdue University

Sommers has been with Purdue for 20 years and completed her degrees while working. She has a registered yoga teacher 200 certification as well as certifications in chair yoga, yoga nidra, and sacred sound. Sommers teaches yoga classes online and throughout her community. She is the president of the Greater Lafayette Chapter of the Purdue Women’s Network and a national officer of her Panhellenic organization. Sommers is leading a workshop on Thursday and Friday called “Blissful Bowl Sound Bath”—space is limited.
