Cost: $1,199 per person. Includes daily breakfasts, one reception, one lunch, two dinners, private tour of Georgia O’Keeffe and New Mexico History Museums, cooking class, and Sky Railway. Does not include travel arrangements, ground transportation to or from the airport, optional excursions, or hotel accommodations.

Important information: Due to the planned itinerary, we strongly advise those who are not ambulatory against participating. Our itinerary includes a significant amount of walking, sometimes on uneven terrain. Travelers must be able to climb on and off chartered motor coaches and a train. President’s Council has a block of rooms reserved at LaFonda on the Plaza, situated on the historic Santa Fe Plaza. All President’s Council-sponsored transportation and excursions depart from this hotel.

Traditional room: $349; Deluxe King: $409; Suite: $449 (per night, plus 15.1875% tax). No resort fee. Overnight parking is $30 per vehicle, allowing for unlimited “in and out” access.

AIR TRAVEL

Guests will make their own travel arrangements and can fly into Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) or directly into Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The hotel is located about an hour from the Albuquerque airport and an 18-minute drive from the Santa Fe airport. Santa Fe is a walkable city, so a rental car is not necessary. If you choose to rent a car, parking is available at the hotel for $30 per day.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

The optional pre-trip excursion has an additional fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may request to cancel for any reason prior to Thursday, July 1, 2025, to receive a full refund for per-person trip costs. Cancellation requests must be made in writing. To request a cancellation, email specialevents@purdueforlife.org. Please call 765-494-0900 with questions.

Cancellations past July 1, 2025, are not refundable.
