*Pricing listed is the base price per seat. There is an escalator added annually to the base price dependent on the length of the license agreement.

A per seat athletics capital gift is required for all new club and court-side seat purchases.

A premium seat license deposit of $1,000 per ticket is required upon agreement of new men’s basketball premium seats which shall be a credit toward the license fee due for the final year of the agreement.

The John Purdue Club membership level required for access to purchase men’s basketball premium seating is the All-American level – $2,500 and above.

LATEST PREMIUM SEATING UPGRADES

Mackey Arena now features revamped court-side premium seating. Premium enhancements include:

  • Additional seats available in court-side rows 2-6.
  • Seats featuring a slightly wider and updated version of the current theater-style with added charging capabilities.
  • Center court-side seats moved closer to arena floor.

Men's Basketball Club SPACES

Enjoy the most optimal viewing angles at the game from club sections 8-11. All seats in these sections are faux leather, individual padded chair-backs. All seats feature armrests, cup holder, and expanded leg room.  

The Spurgeon Club is accessible only by club seat and court-side seat holders. The two-story area is located on the east side of Mackey Arena and opens two hours prior to tipoff. With private restrooms, coat storage, two full cash bars, and a variety of traditional and upscale menu options, the club is the perfect place to meet fellow Boilermakers. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with a drink or catch other game action from around the country on one of 10 high-definition televisions. Prior to Mackey Arena opening one hour before tipoff, entrance to the Spurgeon Club will be off of Northwestern Avenue directly across from the FUSE retail/apartment complex. Once the arena opens, you may access the Spurgeon Club from both the Mackey Arena concourse and Northwestern Avenue entrance.

The John Purdue Club membership level required for purchase of premium basketball club seats is the All-American level ($2,500 and above).

Men's Basketball Court-side Seating

Want to be as close to the action as possible without subbing in? Court-side seating is for you!

Seats in row 1 feature individual ergonomic roller chairs with a table directly in front to place your food and beverage and wirelessly charge your mobile phone. Enjoy the speed and physicality of the game with nothing standing between you and the action! All seats are elevated to provide the best sight lines, and this area features the most leg room!

Seats in rows 2-6 are individual theater-style chairs that feature a slight recline, a cup holder, and mobile phone charging. All seats are elevated to provide the best sight lines and leg room!

Enjoy access to the Spurgeon Club as well as the ALL-INCLUSIVE Wooden Club presented by the Risk Family. This exclusive area located directly at the top of the tunnel leading to Keady Court features a full bar, complimentary dry snacks, halftime appetizers, four split-screen and high-definition televisions, private restrooms, and coat storage. You have the ability to access your seats and the Wooden Club via the same tunnel the team uses! Wooden Club patrons may enter through the Ackerman Atrium (northwest entrance to Mackey Arena) and access the club via the elevator or stairs.

Patsy J. Mellott

BS College of Health and Human Sciences, 1969
Fishers, IN

Patsy earned a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition in business from Purdue in 1969, in addition to an MBA in food marketing from Michigan State University in 1970. She retired from Kraft Foods in 2006 after 36 years in corporate food marketing and marketing communications management.

A community volunteer, Patsy serves on the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana Advisory Board and the Purdue College of Health and Human Sciences Dean’s Leadership Council, in addition to the President’s Council Advisory Board. She is a former member of the Health and Human Sciences Alumni Board. Patsy held several offices from 2006 through 2013, including president and treasurer. She serves her community’s Discover Indianapolis Club in Fishers, holding several leadership roles for over 10 years.

Patsy has received several honors, including the Purdue University Nutrition Science Department Hall of Fame recipient in 2009 and the Purdue University College of Health and Human Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award in 2016. She also received the college’s Gold and Black Award in 2016, an honor reserved for donors who have moved the college forward by committing exceptional financial resources.

In addition to endowing two scholarships, the Patsy J. Mellott Scholarship and Patsy J. Mellott HHS Scholarship, she established the Patsy J. Mellott Teaching Innovation Award in the College of Health and Human Sciences in 2013. In 2015, she endowed the Patsy J. Mellott Women’s Tennis Coach Performance Award. She is a lead donor in the Christine M. Ladisch Faculty Leadership Award and the Purdue Women’s Network Virginia C. Meredith Scholarship for the College of Health and Human Sciences.
