A celebration awaits for Purdue University on April 27, as the institution’s annual event – Purdue Day of Giving – arrives to continue building a better, stronger and more affordable Purdue.

With a successful Purdue Football team returning numerous starters, and showing record growth in attendance over the last five seasons, the time is now to continue strategic investments to ensure the continued success of Purdue Football.

The planned enhancements to the facility will be helpful in creating more efficient and functional space for current and future student-athletes who spend a significant amount of time between workouts, classes and in recovery inside Mackey Arena during the year.

Honoring the life and legacy of the late Leroy Keyes has become an important rallying point for Purdue Athletics and the John Purdue Club, with more than $300,000 raised toward a goal of $2 million.

Today the Purdue University Board of Trustees approved naming a new clubhouse facility at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex after world-famous golf course architect and longtime Indiana resident Pete Dye.
