Generous Gift Leads to New Name for Electrical Engineering Building

A Purdue building housing the University’s largest academic unit has a new name, thanks to a generous gift from an alumnus. Purdue’s Board of Trustees on December 3 approved the naming of the Electrical Engineering Building on campus as the Max W & Maileen Brown Family Hall.

Newest restaurant in Discovery Park District at Purdue pays tribute to Beck family legacy

Purdue Research Foundation and Cunningham Restaurant Group have named a restaurant coming to the Discovery Park District at Purdue. The Lawrence, named in tribute to the Beck family’s enduring impact on Indiana agriculture, is a farm-to-table restaurant that will occupy part of the planned 10,600-square-foot, multiuse Beck Barn located between Airport Road and McCutcheon Drive just off Mitch Daniels Boulevard.
