On April 23, Purdue President Mitch Daniels announced two senior leadership appointments as the university continues to position itself to achieve strategic initiatives, advance in Purdue’s core areas of strength and respond to national and international need.

The Purdue Board of Trustees has approved naming the School of Industrial Engineering for alumnus John A. Edwardson in recognition of $25 million in total gift commitments to support students, faculty, and programming. The school will be known as the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering.
