Mission
The mission of the Purdue Alumni Club of Southwest Michigan is to:
- Provide fellowship among the alumni, friends, and students of Purdue
- Provide scholarships to Purdue students from Southwest Michigan
- Promote Purdue University to students in Southwest Michigan
- Promote Purdue University to all residents of Southwest Michigan
- Support Purdue through attending university activities
- Encourage individuals to become members of the Purdue Alumni Association

Scholarship
The Purdue Alumni Club of Southwest Michigan is proud to announce an academic scholarship program for current and incoming Purdue students living in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties. The scholarships are provided by Purdue alumni and friends who have generously donated to support the next generation of Boilermakers in the Purdue Alumni Club of Southwest Michigan’s geographical area. This is the 22nd year of our club’s scholarship program; more than 87 scholarships have been awarded in past years, totaling over $70,000.
Applications are due by March 1 and will be awarded on or before May 1 for the upcoming academic year. Students who have received other scholarships are eligible to apply.
Recipients of the scholarship will be recognized at the annual Purdue Alumni Club of Southwest Michigan spring meeting. There is no charge for a student to attend.
